Another rant

Hello people. I'm at SISTA on lunch break, and everything around here is crazy, as usual. We're preparing for the Thanksgiving buffet tomorrow, so I've been cooking all day. I got to inject butter into a turkey with Mike the shop teacher, and he had waaayyy too much fun making slasher movie sound effects to accompany it. It was amusing but also disturbing.
Well, once again, nothing that exciting has happened. I'm still ultra-anxious to go and get a guide dog, despite the disapproval of some people here. See, there's sometimes lots of hostility between dog users and cane users, mainly because each thinks their way is better. There are extremists either way: some dog users officially give up the cane and don't believe cane skills are necessary; some cane users think a dog is an inefficient means of travel and advocates too much dependence on someone other than oneself. I, for one, will probably prefer the dog, but I am by no means giving up the cane. I'm going to carry one around with me even when I get a dog.
Well, there's KD's rant of the day.
OK, I'd better submit this entry and gather my stuff, because I must cook some more. I'll try to write later. Parting thought: I WANT A CANDY BAR!!
