This is the first time in ages that I've written 2 days in a row!! Gold star for KD?
Well, I'm in my room at the Marriott Hotel for the NFB convention, and contrary to what the woman at the front desk said, I CAN get wireless Internet from here. Anyway, I'm having quite a good time so far. This morning I had my biggest adventure yet as vice-president of the Nebraska Association of Blind Students by helping with a fundraiser. I distributed snacks and collected money on a moving bus! Now I kind of know how flight attendants feel. That'll help you improve your balance all right.
The rest of the day was mostly workshops and scholarship meetings. Then there was an auction which might still be going on. I was tired, though, so I went up to my room. Something, by the way, I would not have dreamed of doing alone before I came here.
Well, Becky's trying to sleep and my typing might be keeping her awake. I shall try to write tomorrow. Parting thought: WE HAVE ALL MANNER OF LIQUID AND SOLID REFRESHMENTS!! (Quote from my adopted big brother Ryan)
