Hi. I'm back, and I'm so tired. Again. I just got done with a 3-day stay at the place I will be spending my summer, called the Orientation Center. In those 3 days, I learned: blindness is neither a handicap nor a disability, but a characteristic (think about it); the basics of knitting; how to distinguish the distance of traffic by sound cues; there is such a thing as Grade III Braille; frozen microwave meals are good; Scategories is a fun game; and finally, their piano is waaaay out of tune. And a lot more that I probably forgot. So yeah, I'm tired. Can you imagine what I'll learn when spending 3 months there?
You know, the great, famous, Kelly Rowland once said, "My first kiss was in 7th grade and it was awful! I'm trying to forget it!" Well, mine happened 5 years later than hers, but I know exactly where she's coming from. Oh my gosh! I'm surprised I haven't had nightmares yet! If y'all want details, ask, and I might be up to sharing, but I'm not posting this story on the world wide web. Sorry.
I'm listening to B*witched live, and they're sooo good! I luuuuurve that group! Best peppy Irish-y pop around. G, you can kill me later for putting "best," "pop," and "Irish" in the same sentence, but I don't care. Again, I'm too tired, and too full of Chinese food, to care. I almost spelled "care" as "car."
